Een vakantie in het charmante bed-and breakfast Dar Ta' Zeppi in combinatie met een creatieve workshop keramiek
Tijdens uw verblijf in het zonnige Gozo kunt u na het zeer verzorgde ontbijt keramieklessen volgen bij de Belgische keramiste Maria Cocquyt van 10.30 tot 14 uur.
Maria Cocquyt heeft meer dan 15 jaar ervaring met het doceren van keramiek. Ze is erkend ontwerper bij Design Vlaanderen en heeft tal van tentoonstellingen in binnen- en buitenland waarbij o.a. in Japan, Faënza…enz (zie www.mariacocquyt.be)
Vanaf het eerste moment van uw deelname wordt u stap voor stap begeleid om elke dag een andere techniek aan te leren. De resultaten worden tijdens uw verblijf nog gebakken en kunt u ook het evenement meemaken van een vuuroven waar gedecoreerde werkjes zullen gebakken worden met basisgrondstoffen van het eiland.
Programma:
- Zaterdag laat aankomst
- Zondag 11 uur : kennismaking + uiteenzetting programma (zondag geen les)
- Maandag tem donderdag les van 10.30 – 14 uur
- Vrijdag les van 10.30 – 12 uur
- Zaterdag vertrek

Christmas stress? No thank you!
Enjoy the warm climate, sunshine, sea and nature and relax whilst preparing for Christmas.
The Mediterranean island of Gozo, is still warm and full of sunshine in November. The climate gives you more energy to go through the dark and cold winter days back home.
This one week Christmas decoration workshop takes you completely away from everyday life and gives you the power and energy to go stress less through the pre Christmas period.
The accommodation is in a luxury B&B Dar ta Zeppi, run by a Belgian artist Tanja. It is an original Gozitan townhouse DECORATED with lots of art and love. The workshop will be held and organized by the Austrian artist Hermine. More information about her you find at supplier details.
In this workshop you will be making Christmas decoration of paper and clay.
Price for the course and accommodation: €565 /PP
The course only takes place by a minimum of 6 participants.
The price includes accommodation at Dar ta Zeppi, breakfast and healthy lunch, tuition fee and material.
It goes without saying that you can take a non course participating partner with you. In this case we can organize a culture program instead or he/she gets a price reduction of €180
On request I will send you a list of additional services and prices, such as culture program, full board, airport transfer, and so on.

With Hermine’s activity program you explore the island Gozo in a very different way. You do not need any specific skills or interests, just positive spirit! Hermine an Austrian artist offers one-day experiences such as art walks, painting with mud, shaping with clay or one week workshops.

Creativity exists in each of us… without knowing it… you find it in your interiors, your cooking, gardening, even in the clothes you wear.
Our lessons are free of judgment and they are given in a very healthy relaxed atmosphere, with now and then a break with a good glass of Maltese wine, or fresh mint tea, or coffee…even with home made biscuits!
Or we go for a short walk in the countryside, looking for inspiration…..
By walking in nature, because of the direct contact with earth, the stones, the soil, the greenery….. because of seeing the beautiful blue, green, turquoise sea colors, the reds, purples and yellows of the wild flowers….. we are surrounded by the purest source of inspiration.
We look to nature through the eyes of an artist, with the passion to express ourselves.
We discover new colours, textures, shapes…. and this in combination with our soul… we then transform it all into abstract art….
Pure vibration between earth, water, fire and soul…..
After a tiring but fascinating day, a nice, artistic and inviting table will welcome you to a gastronomic dinner accompanied by a tasty Maltese wine.
The ‘ART –BOX’ workshops are for everybody who is + 21 years young...
It is proved that when art is created in a positive atmosphere, with the correct balance between art, location, personal contact and relaxation…. the result is promising.
The diversity of ages and backgrounds enriches the creative experiences.

Expressing our feelings and our vision through colours, composition, materials…..
Even professionals can re-experience colors / textures / feelings… because the environment, Gozo, is positively loaded and also very liberated….

01/05 Day 1; walk in the country side of Qala , getting a feeling/a touch with the island .
…a play with colours…
02/05 Day 2 ; 10 .00 – 13.30 1st.contact with the white canvas in Dar ta Zeppi.
03/05 Day 3 ; 10.00 - 13.30 creating art with sea view …..+ pick nick
04/05 Day 4 ; free day
05/05 Day 5 ; Visit to Xaghra ; Ggantija temples
IMPRESSIONS translated on canvas or in clay , working at home in Dar ta Zeppi
06/05 Day 6 ; Country walk, we take our canvas with us to create there and then.
07/05 Day 7 ; Azur Window; creating an art work…in the late afternoon, waiting for the sunset…
08/05 Day 8 ; returning home….
Closing date to write yourself in for this workshop = 31th of October 2010
Price HB /pp , inclusive all excursions/taxi transfers /packed lunches, taxi transfer airport – Dar ta' Zeppi and return = 750 euro
